The Academy is subsidised in part by the Kendal Binns Junior Fund which is funded by members to assist the development of young golfers.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the academy is to provide programs for all levels of junior golfers from beginners wanting to try a new sport to advanced juniors wanting to play tournament golf.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Beginner Program &#8211; Level 1<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The goal of this program is to provide a fun and safe environment where players can learn the basic skills of golf while engaging with other players to complete drills and games. This is an enjoyable fun program and perfect for someone with little to no golf experience.<\/p>\n<p>All players starting the program are entered at the Beginner &#8211; Level 1 stage and if they decide that golf is for them, they can advance through the various levels that the Academy offers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Intermediate &#8211; Level 2 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once you have completed Level 1 you are then able to join the Club as a member, subject to approval and continue developing proficiency in the basic skills of golf. We will take what you have learnt onto the golf course and show you how to put in action the skills learned during the clinics. This includes various on course scenarios along with rules and<br \/>\netiquette of the game.<\/p>\n<p>Players will begin on a short course and as they progress their skills, will move towards playing the full course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior Membership &#8211; Level 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Level 3A (Handicap Attainment)<\/span><br \/>\nFollowing the completion of Level 2 participants can then start to focus on obtaining a handicap, this will allow entry into competitions.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Level 3B (Social Golf)<\/span><br \/>\nFor those who aren\u2019t ready for competition golf we have the following pathway.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competition Golf &#8211; Level 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s time to take your game to the next level and start competing in competition golf!<br \/>\nAs a Full Playing Junior Member of the Club you will be working towards:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Playing regularly in member and junior competitions at club level<br \/>\n\u2022 Junior team representation<br \/>\n\u2022 KBJF consideration<\/p>\n<p>There is no group coaching at this level. Private lessons are highly recommended.
