Thank you for the strong and positive response to our 2026 Reciprocal Club Golf Tours. It is always heartening to see the sense of adventure that so many of you share when opportunities arise to represent our Club at some of Australia’s most respected courses. Below I would like to share a quick update on what is happening in the coming year.

Queensland Tour – Winter Solstice

Our Queensland Tour has been met with outstanding interest and is now fully booked. This tour combines quality golf, excellent facilities and ease of travel, making it one of the most popular options on offer. For those who have not yet expressed their interest but wish to be included, we recommend sending Barnaby a quick email (gmanager@pennanthillsgolfclub.com.au).

This tour presents a fantastic opportunity to explore Victoria’s rich golfing landscape, with a thoughtfully curated itinerary that complements the success of our earlier Victorian trips. It includes play at a number of premier clubs and is balanced with social opportunities. If you are interested but have yet to register, please consider joining your fellow Members.

Project R&M Bulletin 3.1

Project R&M Bulletin 3.1

On behalf of the Technical Committee I wish to provide Members with a Special Edition of our Repair and Maintenance Bulletin. This update outlines the effect recent record rainfall has had on Stage 2 of Project R&M and the adjustments that are now necessary.

The reality of sustained wet weather has made it clear that a revised focus is the wisest course. By concentrating on Holes 5 and 6 at this stage and deferring Hole 8 and other works to later phases, we ensure that what is completed is done to the standard our Club expects and deserves. This approach avoids compromise, protects the integrity of the work and positions us strongly for the stages ahead.

At the same time, pleasing progress continues with the practice putting green and the new waterfall feature. These works are nearing completion and will soon provide Members with fine new additions to enjoy and be proud of.

I commend this Bulletin to you and invite you to read it in full. It reflects not only the challenges we face but also the careful planning and dedication being applied to ensure the best outcomes for Pennant Hills Golf Club.

Read the Special Bulletin here.
